Illinois Bankruptcy Courts - Northern District

The Illinois Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District is comprised of two divisions serving 18 counties. The district accounted for approximately 68% of state wide filings. The 2003 case volume, divided by chapter, was as follows:

The Chicago Division - Eastern Division - serves the counties of Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, Will, Grundy, LaSalle, and Kendall County. The Rockford Division - Western Division - serves the counties of Boone, Carroll, Dekalb, JoDaviess, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside, and Winnebago County.
